On April 24, the 2025 World Security Expo and the 5th Wuhan International Security Emergency Expo opened at the Wuhan International Expo Center.

With the theme of "Great Safety, Great Emergency, New Technology and New Equipment", this expo brings together experts, business representatives and industry leaders in the field of safety and emergency response across the country to discuss and exchange the development of new technologies and equipment under the framework of safety and emergency response, aiming to build a high-end exchange platform for the whole industry chain of safety and emergency response, promote the deep integration of safety technology and industry, and help build a higher level of safe China in the new era.

The World Security Expo is upgraded on the basis of the original Wuhan International Security Emergency Expo, which has been held for five consecutive years, and this World Security Expo has attracted more than 150 industry leaders from home and abroad to participate in the exhibition, covering new technologies and equipment in many fields such as special emergency rescue equipment, intelligent fire protection and security, emergency communication technology, monitoring and early warning technology, artificial intelligence robots, low-altitude economy (UAV), Beidou technology navigation, emergency command system and so on. A number of "intelligent, unmanned, and information-based" safety emergency equipment were unveiled, including explosion-proof inspection robots, AI risk monitoring and control platforms, emergency communication command systems, drones and other cutting-edge technology products, showing the latest trend of the security industry upgrading to digitalization and intelligence.

At the same time, the expo will also hold a series of forums on emergency response, including the Science and Technology Empowerment Safety Production Forum, the Emergency Communication and Big Data Application Forum, the Low-altitude Economic Industry Development Conference, the Chemical Intrinsic Safety Forum, etc., bringing together representatives of government agencies, scientific research institutes and enterprises to discuss the innovative application of safety technology in disaster prevention and mitigation, safety production, urban governance and other fields.
