On May 8th, reporters learned from the organizing committee of the 9th Silk Road Conference that this year’s event will focus on the implementation of the achievements made during the China-Central Asia Xi'an Summit and will serve to promote the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative. A total of nine significant activities are planned. Among these, the cross-border financial cooperation exchange will be hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Government and China Construction Bank, with the Provincial Financial Office and the Shaanxi Branch of the Bank handling the organization. The theme is ‘Shan Yao Xiang Jiang’—Supporting Shaanxi Enterprises in Entering the Hong Kong Capital Market. This event will invite the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to provide a detailed introduction to the Hong Kong capital market, and focus on promoting related services for listings on the Hong Kong Stock Market by China International Capital Corporation (CICC) and China Construction Bank (Asia) Limited. Key enterprises from Shaanxi, such as Xi'an Dayi Group Co., Ltd., which are planning to list in Hong Kong, will also be invited to participate. Since the beginning of this year, the Shaanxi Branch of China Construction Bank has focused on the pain points faced by enterprises in the listing process in Hong Kong, establishing a working mechanism of 'bi-weekly consultations and monthly assessments' with the wholly-owned subsidiary CICC. They have conducted joint investigations and training for enterprises planning to list in Hong Kong across the province, covering more than 50 innovative enterprises within the first four months of this year alone, and formulating personalized service plans for nearly 10 companies. 'In recent years, the Shaanxi Branch of China Construction Bank has continuously focused on the needs of local enterprises for equity financing, mixed ownership reform of state-owned enterprises, and deleveraging, collaborating with subsidiaries such as CICC to promote a comprehensive financing surpassing 24 billion yuan for Shaanxi enterprises through an integrated service model of commercial investment banking,' stated a relevant official from the Shaanxi Branch. Leveraging the occasion of this Silk Road Conference, the Shaanxi Branch will continue to optimize the ‘Shan Yao Xiang Jiang’ brand activities, deepen strategic collaboration with CICC, and enhance support for Shaanxi enterprises in their Hong Kong listings, assisting more Shaanxi enterprises in achieving leapfrog development through the Hong Kong capital market, thereby contributing financial strength to the high-quality development of the Shaanxi economy.
