Guanshan Grassland is located in the southwest of Longxian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, west of Malu Township, Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County, Tianshui City, Gansu Province, 134 kilometers away from Baoji City, 300 kilometers away from Xi'an City.

The scenic area gathers forests, grasslands, rivers, mountains, canyons and other natural landscapes, which are simple and natural and magnificent, and enjoy the reputation of "Little Tianshan".

Here, the topography is similar to that of the Central European Alps. The climate is affected by the vertical zonal geographical conditions, with unbounded winter and spring, and connected with summer and autumn, which has the portrayal of "Guanshan June cold and frost".

In December 2019, the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Resources Development Management Evaluation Committee issued an announcement that Guanshan Grassland Tourist Resort in Baoji City was identified as a provincial tourist resort.
