On September 20, Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, met with Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Torobayev and his entourage who came to Shaanxi to visit Shaanxi and attend the 8th Silk Expo.

Zhao Yide welcomed Torobayev and his entourage to Shaanxi. He said that China and Kyrgyzstan are linked by mountains and rivers and are neighbors that cannot be moved. Under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Zhaparov, the China-Kyrgyzstan comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era has developed steadily and healthily. At present, Shaanxi is deeply studying and implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the important instructions of President Xi Jinping's important speeches during his previous visits to Shaanxi, integrating more deeply into the overall pattern of jointly building the "Belt and Road", and accelerating the construction of inland reform and opening up. It is hoped that the two sides will consolidate and develop the current good momentum of exchanges and cooperation, and further expand economic and trade exchanges, strengthen industrial cooperation, expand sister-city relations, deepen science, education and people-to-people exchanges with the link of China-Europe freight trains and direct routes, and make positive contributions to building a China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future of good-neighborliness, friendship and shared prosperity.

Torobayev thanked Shaanxi for its warm reception and wished the 8th Silk Expo a complete success. He said that Shaanxi is the starting point of the ancient Silk Road and an important node of the "Belt and Road", and plays an important role in promoting the healthy development of Kyrgyzstan-China relations, and is willing to further strengthen pragmatic cooperation with Shaanxi in various fields to better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
