The former site of the Yangjialing Revolution is the former site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, located 2 kilometers northwest of Yan'an City, and is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot. From November 1938 to March 1947, Mao Zedong and other central leaders and central organs of the Communist Party of China lived here.
During this period, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China continued to command the battlefields behind enemy lines in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and led the War of Liberation, led the large-scale production movement and the rectification movement, and convened the "Seventh National Congress" of the Party and the Yan'an Symposium on Literature and Art. In 1942, the Central Auditorium was built here, and the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in the Central Auditorium from April 23 to June 11, 1945.
In December 2016, the former site of the Yangjialing Revolution was included in the list of national red tourism classic scenic spots.
