On September 24, the results of the 8th Silk Road International Expo and China's East-West Cooperation, Investment and Trade Fair were held. As of the early morning of September 24, the number of offline visitors to this year's Silk Expo exceeded 220,000, the number of hits on the "Online Silk Expo" website exceeded 8 million, and there were 2,059 registered exhibitors and 3,635 exhibits at the Online Silk Expo.

Yang Miao, deputy director of the Executive Committee of the 8th Silk Expo and director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, introduced that a total of representatives from 50 countries and regions such as Kyrgyzstan, Tanzania, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates and Russia participated in the Silk Expo. 62 central organs, national ministries and commissions, central enterprises, and 28 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China participated in the exhibition.

In accordance with the national requirements of thrift, pragmatism and efficiency, this year's Silk Expo closely followed the primary task of high-quality development, carefully organized 8 key activities, and held 2 activities at the same time, reducing the number of activities by 66% compared with the previous session, further improving the quality and efficiency of the activities. At the China-Europe Express (Xi'an) Global Partnership Conference, Xi'an Chanba International Port signed the "High-quality Joint Construction of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor" initiative with Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgian State Railways, and signed the "Cooperation to Build a High-level and Open Modern International Logistics System" with the Khorgos Municipal Government and the Port of Burgas, Bulgaria. Xinhua News Agency, China Economic Information Service, released the "Report on the Development of the Xi'an Assembly Center of the China-Europe Railway Express".

In the 2024 Silk Road (Shaanxi) International Economic and Trade Cooperation and Development Exchange and Docking Event, China Construction Bank Shaanxi Branch signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with Shaanxi Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group Co., Ltd., China Construction Bank Astana Branch and Western China Cement Co., Ltd. respectively. For the first time, Qin Chuangyuan invited foreign guests and investment and financing institutions in Hong Kong, China to participate in the roadshow promotion of scientific and technological achievements, and held a series of activities such as special promotion and project roadshow. This year's Silk Expo also held two major economic and trade cooperation and investment promotion activities at the same time, namely the "Invest in China, Choose Shaanxi" promotion activity and the Global Qin Business Conference, both of which have achieved fruitful results.

This year's Silk Expo will give full play to the role of industry associations and chain owners, increase the invitation to upstream and downstream enterprises, professional audiences, etc., and set up five exhibition areas for international exchanges, inter-provincial cooperation, transportation and logistics, advanced manufacturing and modern energy, with a display area of 72,000 square meters.

While carrying out extensive international exchanges, this year's Silk Expo continued to deepen regional cooperation, planned and held two activities, including the National Young Entrepreneurs to Help Shaanxi's High-quality Development Activities, and the Jiangsu and Shaanxi East and West Entrepreneurs Innovation and Development Conference, and reached a series of cooperation, covering the future network industry, new energy, rural revitalization, integration of industry and education, new forms of cultural tourism, medicine and health care, and other fields. During the Silk Expo, a total of 5 economic, trade and cultural activities were held in brother provinces and cities, which strengthened inter-provincial exchanges and promoted win-win development.
